Our client has an Urgent requirement for a skilled Oracle developer with a 2:1 or better from an established University. Main duties include Module design, To convert architectural design specifications to module designs, To document the designs, Code development, To write Oracle PL*SQL modules that will form a part of a larger software system, To set up new Oracle schemas and instances as required to support the modules written,Testing, To develop test harnesses and a test plan for all modules, To perform and record module testing, To assist in system testing as required.
Essential Skills include:
Minimum BSc (Hons) 2:1 from an established university in a numerate discipline, preferably Computer Science or Software Engineering
4+ years commercial software experience, with at least one year of significant design content· Fluency in Oracle PL*SQL and DDL (preferably Oracle 9i)·Experience in the implementation of n-tier architectures· Fluency in schema design·Good Design aptitude· Excellent technical communication skillsMSB Technology (a division of MSB International PLC) is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
